Where our figures come from

Everything factual on this website can be traced to one of the documents below. Organisation-wide figures are cumulative to May 2026 and are updated when MCPA publishes new totals.

Notes on reading the figures

  • Reach is not clearance. MCPA has worked in all 34 provinces. That does not mean those provinces are clear of contamination.
  • Cumulative totals cover 1990 to May 2026 and include work funded by many donors over 36 years.
  • Story figures are those in the relevant field report at the date it was written. Where a report describes something as planned or expected, we say so.
  • Photographs are MCPA's own. Exact coordinates recorded on field photographs have been cropped out.
